Protected Trade—optional, not a platform tax
Membership unlocks full access. Protected Trade adds structured checks and support when you activate it on a deal—the Protected Trade service fee is due at activation, not on ordinary meetups.
Membership unlocks eligibility for Optional Protected Trade. For a given deal, you pay a single Protected Trade service fee when you activate the premium workflow—scaled to trade size (see tiers below). That fee buys the structured safety flow and support, not custody of funds and not a charge that waits on post-meetup honesty. Normal trades stay on the standard flow with no Protected Trade fee.
Optional Protected Trade
Protected Trade is an optional premium protection service for paid members who want extra structure on higher-value or higher-stakes meetups. It is not full custodial escrow at launch—no platform custody of trade funds in v1. The Protected Trade Fee is a separate service charge: you see it before you activate, you pay it to unlock the protected workflow for that deal, and it does not depend on post-meetup self-reporting for collection.
Add it when it fits the trade; ordinary meetups stay on the standard flow without this layer.
